THE WORLDS FOREMOST MARKETING EXPERT FEATURES THE WELLNESS COMMUNITY OF SOUTHWEST FLORIDA'S 'BUILDING HOPE" CAPITAL CAMPAIGN IN NEW TEXTBOOK

The Worlds Foremost Marketing Expert features The Wellness Community of Southwest Florida’s “Building Hope” Capital Campaign in New Textbook

Dr. Phillip Kotler, the father of modern marketing, has featured The Wellness Community of Southwest Florida’s “Building Hope” capital campaign in his new textbook; Strategic Marketing for Health Care Organizations: Building a Customer-Driven System.

The case study, titled “Three Organizations Cooperate to Redesign The Wellness Community” refers to the “Building Hope” capital campaign as, “A remarkable health care service product concept….that will both improve cancer patient outcomes and possibly reduce health care costs.”

“For someone like Phil Kotler to talk about The Wellness Community’s new project validates the way we went about designing our new building: we asked those who will use it what they wanted. The Wellness Community is proud to be an example of the great results that come from intentionally incorporating the opinions of the people we serve into what we do – from our daily programs to our built environment”,

said The Wellness Community Executive Director Jay Lockaby.

The author, Dr. Phillip Kotler is the S.C. Johnson & Son Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Chicago. He was selected as the 4th most influential management guru of all time by the Financial Times (behind Jack Welch, Bill Gates, and Peter Drucker), and he is hailed by Management Centre Europe as “the world’s foremost expert on the strategic practice of marketing.”He is considered one of the pioneers of social marketing.
